Cedar does not stop on its own

Eastern redcedar spreads across Oklahoma pasture year after year. Every season it is left alone, the stand gets thicker, the trees get bigger, and the job costs more.

We take cedar down to the ground and mulch it in place. No burn piles to manage, no loads to haul, and the grass gets sunlight again.

  • Lost grazing

Cedar shades out grass and cuts how many head the land can carry.

  • Wildfire fuel

Cedar burns hot and carries fire toward homes, barns, and fence lines.

  • Rising cost to clear

Small trees are fast and cheap to mulch. Mature stands take longer and cost more.

Who we work for

From a single overgrown lot to miles of right-of-way.

  • Ranchers and landowners

Pasture recovery, cedar control, fence lines, and ranch roads.

Common questions

How much does forestry mulching or land clearing cost?

It depends on acreage, how thick the brush and cedar are, tree size, terrain, and access. Send the location and a few photos, or have us walk the property, and you get a written price before any work starts.

What is forestry mulching?

A tracked machine with a mulching head grinds brush and trees in place. The mulch stays on the ground to hold soil and slow erosion, so there is no burning and no hauling of cut vegetation.

Can you clear eastern redcedar from pasture?

Yes. Cedar is one of the most common jobs we do. It is taken down to the ground and mulched in place, so there are no burn piles and the grass can recover.

Do you take large acreage and commercial jobs?

Yes. We work for ranches, builders, energy companies, and public agencies as well as homeowners. Tell us the acreage and the deadline and we will plan the equipment and schedule to match.

What parts of Oklahoma do you serve?

All of it. SPN Land Management travels statewide, from the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metros to rural land in the southeast and the panhandle. Call or text 707-533-7197 with your location.

Can one company handle clearing, demolition, dirt work, and hauling?

Yes. That is the point. One crew clears the land, takes down what is in the way, builds the pad or road, and hauls off what is left.

Do I need a permit?

Some demolition and grading work needs a city or county permit, especially inside city limits. Ask when you request a quote and check with your city or county before work starts.
